The breed, Silky terrier was originally a cross between a yorkshire terrier and an Australian terrier. They have been recognized by AKC as their own breed for many, many years. Many folks cannot tell the silky terriers and the yorkies apart. The silkies tend to be a little larger with longer noses while retaining the wonderful terrier personality. They are egotistical, fun loving and sturdy little dogs.
Mine are registered with APRI and will range from 7 to 13 lbs as adults. Excellent coats and good confirmation are goals of our breeding program.
Milo and Zach are expecting the beginning of May. These will be awesome little puppies!
